India won the three-match T20I series by 3-0 against West Indies. Now India and West Indies will play a three-match ODI series which can start from august 08. Virat Kohli and Rishabh pant scored a brilliant half-century in the last T20I match. Krunal Pandya awarded with the player of the series award for his fantastic performance with both bat and ball.
During yesterday’s match, Virat Kohli was batting, and Oshane Thomas was bowling. Oshane Thomas bowled a length delivery, and Virat Kohli tried to step out and hit the ball, but the ball took inside of Kohli’s bat and went towards the stump but didn’t touch. West Indian player can’t believe it on.
After winning the series, Virat Kohli said,
“Very clinical performance. We set out to get the results that we wanted, and we’ve achieved that. Deepak stepped up today. I think all the bowlers were on the mark. This was a much better wicket that what we saw in Miami. Very similar to Bhuvi, his (Deepak Chahar) skill with the new ball is right up there. That’s been his USP in the IPL as well. We are looking at him (Rishabh Pant) as the future. He’s got a lot of skill and a lot of talent. It is about giving him some space and not putting too much of pressure. He’s come a long way since he’s started. We want to be professional as a side. Looking forward to some fun in the ODIs and Tests as well.”
Player of the series: Krunal Pandya
In the post-match presentation, Pandya said, “Quite satisfying and obviously won the series and to contribute in a winning cause is a good feeling. The focus is to improve every day, and I am not thinking much about anything, just trying to focus on getting better. He (Pollard) is like a brother to me and playing against him; he knows my strength, and I know his strength. I guess whoever uses his brain (when asked who gets the better of who).”
