The ICC cricket world cup 2019 will be held in England & wales from 30th may to July 14, 2019. This is the 12th edition of the ICC cricket world cup. 10 international cricket teams will be going to participate in world cup. All teams have to announce their world cup squad before 23rd April. Any team can change their squad before 23rd May but after that they have to take permission from ICC to change their squad.

8 out of 10 teams have already announced their squad for World Cup, only 2 teams were left to announce their squad for World Cup – West Indies and Afghanistan. Today, Afghanistan has announced their squad for ICC cricket  world cup 2019. They have announced Captain as Gulbadin Naib.

From last some years Afghanistan is performing well in limited overs format. Last year they got their test membership from ICC. Afghanistan has many world class players like Rashid Khan, Mohammed Nabi and Mujeeb ur Rahman.

In opening they have included Mohammed Shahzad and Hazratullah Zazai. In middle order they have added some good players like Rahmat Shah, Asghar Afghan, H Shahidi and N Zadran,  Spin bowling attack of Afghanistan is one of the best spin bowling attack in world because of presence of world class spinners Rashid Khan and Mujeeb ur Rahman. In fast bowling they have selected Aftab Alam and Hamid Hassan.

Afghanistan starts their campaign of World cup 2019 from 1st June against Australia. Afghanistan cannot be underestimated as their performance is improving day by day.
