December 6, was a memorable day for Team India as they registered their highest chase in T20I. Though this is not the only reason, Dec 6 is a special day for Indian Cricket, this day as many as five Indian Cricketers celebrate their Birthday.
Boom-Boom Bumrah, former swing bowler RP singh, Sir Jadeja, current incumbent Indian No.4 Shreyas Iyer and India’s second Triple centurion in tests Karun Nair celebrate their birthday on December 6.
It was an occasion when social media was full of birthday wishes for their stars. From fans to players to cricket lovers to franchises to cricket boards, everyone took to social media to congratulate cricket stars.
Ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin also joined the caravan to wish the players who have birthdays on December 06. Indian spinner posted a tweet to wish the troika of Rudra Pratap Singh, Shreyas Iyer and Karun Nair on their respective birthdays terming them as “cricketing triplets”.
Ashwin wrote, “Wishing the cricketing triplets born on the same day a very happy birthday. This day must have been marked for greatness back then @rpsingh @ShreyasIyer15 @karun126.”
In an interesting scenario, a fan tried to troll Aswhin over ‘deliberately’ skipping Bumrah and Jadeja’s name.
The fan asked, “ignored bumrah because of champions trophy no ball and jadeja because he overshadowed u?” accusing Ashwin of deliberately skipping the name of Bumrah and Jadeja, his team mates.
However, Ashwin, one of the most intelligent cricketers, didn’t let this pass by. As the witty spinner, who is often seen out-smarting batsmen on the field, replied the question in just two words, “So Lame”.

Ashwin has not represented India in limited over cricket since the Champions Trophy final in June 2017. However, he is a surety in test team for the wonderful performances and record he has in test cricket.
While his spin bowling partner in that final Ravindra Jadeja, who was also dropped from limited over squad after the champions trophy final, came back strongly into the team and represented India in Cricket World Cup 2019.
