The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is all set to host two T20I matches between Asia XI and World XI to remember Bangladesh’s founding father, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman – the first president of the nation – on his birth centenary. BCB has been trying to make the occasion as grand as possible to mark this special occasion.
The two matches of Asia XI vs World XI will be played on 21st and 22nd March at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka. Six Indian players are all set to play in these two matches. The six Indian players are Indian captain Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Mohammed Shami and Kuldeep Yadav.
Former South African player Faf Du Plessis to lead World XI team to face Asia XI for a Two Match T20 Series while Lungi Ngidi is the other South African player who will be included. Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard and Sheldon Cottrell are the West Indian player that will be part of this team.
Alex Hales, Jonny Bairstow, and Adil Rashid are the English played in this team. Andrew Tye is the Australian player while Mitchell McClenaghan is the New Zealand player New Zealand in the team.
Chris Gayle was last seen to play in the Bangladesh premier league thereafter he is taking rest while Faf Du Plessis is the part of current South African team that is playing Against Australia at their home. Alex hales is out form the England team form last one year.
