Yesterday South Africa cricket team reached India for a bilateral series. They will play three T20Is and Three tests against India during this tour. The Tour will start from September 15 with the T20I series. Earlier BCCI announced team India’s squad for T20I series. So Today BCCI has announced team India’s Squad for South Africa test series. The three-match Test series will start from October 02.
Rohit Sharma may open the inning during this series. Before this KL Rahul was opening with Mayank Agarwal. But KL Rahul’s poor form is the concern for team India, so they are looking to open the inning with Rohit Sharma. “As selection committee, we haven’t met after the conclusion of the West Indies tour. We will definitely take this (Rohit as an opener) point into consideration when we all meet and discuss about it,” MSK Prasad, chairman of the national selection committee, told India Today in an exclusive interview.
From West Indies series, India have found some good point like Akinkya Rahane is back in the form and doing well. Also, Hanuma Vihari played well. Bowling unit was also looking in good touch during the West indues series.
