Board of cricket control of India (BCCI) invites application for team India head coach. The interested candidate will apply for this on BCCI website. Currently, Ravi Shastri is the head coach of India. He will remain the coach of India till windies tour. Ravi may re-apply for the head coach.
In a mail, the BCCI CoA wrote, “The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) would like to call upon interested candidates to apply for the following positions for the senior India Men’s team.
- Head Coach
- Batting Coach
- Bowling Coach
- Fielding Coach
- Strength and Conditioning Coach
- Administrative Manager
Interested candidates should send their application(s) on or before July 30, 2019, by 5 pm at firstname.lastname@example.org. The current coaching staff of Team India (Senior Men) will get an automatic entry in the recruitment process. Here is the requirement for the applications
The maximum age for the head coach has been fixed at 60 years. The candidate will need to be the head coach of a full member test nation for a minimum period of 2 years or Head Coach of an Associate member /IPL franchise or Equivalent International Leagues/First Class Teams/ National A teams, for a minimum period of 3 years. He should need to have experience of minimum 30 tests or 50 ODIs.
“Candidates who have (i) successfully managed a cricket team of any of the affiliated units of BCCI or the national teams, at the first class or the International level, or (ii) have a minimum of ten years of work experience in public/private sector, will be preferred,” the BCCI eligibility criteria for the manager said.
