A controversial scenario was built up between the two players that is Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav raised the chances of rumors. As the red hot form of Suryakumar Yadav in this season made him in a limelight for the prominent selection in the Indian team in every aspects that is T20, ODI series respectively. His form was very appreciable but the BCCI had other rules, hence he was not selected for the upcoming Indian squad which will be conducted from November 27 against Australia.

From the last 2 seasons, Suryakumar Yadav performance were touching to the sky, as he was building his inning and playing with all maturity,still he couldn’t make his place in the Indian National Team. Thus this approach made a huge controversy over the selection of the promising youngsters and stated being harsh behavior of BCCI. Not being selected in the squad made Suryakumar unhappy with Captain Virat Kohli and the selectors which eventually made his emotions lose by involving into a controversy in sledging episode with the skipper of Indian team.

The match was between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians, in which Suryakumar smashed a brilliant knock of 79 runs in just 43 deliveries, which apparently made Mumbai Indians to clinch the game.

Once again Suryakumar was involved in news for liking a meme which was involved in the twitter. The meme was Tamil drama thriller master, which stated Indian vice-captain, Rohit Sharma fighting against Virat Kohli and the BCCI selectors. Hence this controversial meme pumped Suryakumar Yadav again into negative limelight. Though Suryakumar disliked the tweet later on.

Although it was in the hot discussion that Rohit should lead Indian team in the shorter format as Rohit led Mumbai Indians for the 5th IPL title, which made some that it could be a right choice of Rohit stepping ahead for the captaincy in the shorter format.

However many analysts and cricket legends like Aakash chopra and Kapil Dev stated that India had produced many epic wins under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, so it couldn’t be a good option of splitting the captaincy spot in two different players and it was also well known that Mumbai Indians has best players as compared to RCB which is totally dependent over AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli.
