Ajinkya Rahane started his IPL career for Mumbai Indians in 2008. He played for Mumbai Indians in 2008 and 209 after that he skipped Indian premier league 2010 before joining Rajasthan Royals. After that, he becomes the regular member of Rajasthan Royals. Rahane Led the RR team in the last two season of IPL. In the previous season, he stepped down from the captaincy in the midseason after the result was not gone in their favour. Steven Smith led the team after Ajinkya Rahane stepped down from the captaincy.

The player trade window has opened, and Teams are trading their players. Mumbai Indians already signed Sherfane Rutherford in place of Mayank Markande. Mayank Markande will play for Delhi capitals in the Indian premier league 2019.

Now Delhi Capitals will try to rope Ajinkya Rahane in their team for the IPL 2020. DC added Shikhar Dhawan in the last season in their team, and he played a crucial role in the team. Now DC tries to rope another experienced player in their team.

“Yes, DC is trying to get Rahane onboard, but too early to say if the deal will see the light of the day. A lot of things need to be taken care of before the dotted line is signed. RR’s take on the whole issue can also not be discounted since he has been a huge ambassador for them. But yes, talks are on,” the source said.

“The side has attempted to get the right balance between youth and experience and what Rahane brings to the table isn’t something one needs to talk about. It is there for all to see. Dhawan and Ishant Sharma showed what having experienced heads in the dug-out mean when the situation is tough, and this could be a dream move if sealed,” the official told IANS.
