MS Dhoni, the Chennai Super Kings Captain and former India Captain has finally started his training for the mega tournament starting in the end of March. The legend is gearing up to make a comeback to the field again though this time from a long sabbatical.

The IPL this year is going to have more importance for Dhoni and his fans. A good performance in this IPL will gave him an outside chance to make a late entry in the World T20 plans of team India. While an average performance could well end his career for the men in Blue.

Indian coach Ravi Shastri reiterated the grounds on which Dhoni can make a comeback to the team in a recent talk with sport star. On the question of Dhoni’sreturn to the national side, Shastri said, “Exactly what I wanted to ask you. There is IPL coming. Uske baad tum dekho. Everyone will know. He will know, selectors will know, the captain will know seeing him, and more important than anything else he will know. What I’m trying to tell the people is he is the last person to impose himself on anything. You know him. I know him.

“For years, you know that he’s been dead honest when it comes to things of that sort, like when he gave up Test cricket. There was nothing of 100 Tests because he is not the guy who will impose on himself. I don’t know if he started practising as yet or not, but I’m sure if he’s keen on the IPL, everything will come out now and he will be ready. For all you know, he may start the IPL, if he doesn’t feel good he’ll say ‘Thank you very much,’ Ravi Shastri said as quoted by Sportstar.

The legendary cricketer was recently snubbed from the central contract list by BCCI recently. But now with the master returning to the ring one can expect one or two magical moments coming their way. It might be another successful season for Chennai Super Kings or an extraordinary comeback to Indian cricket team also.

IPL 2020 is scheduled to start from 29th March 2020. The inauguration match will be played between the previous season’s winner and the runner-up, i.e. Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, at the Wankhede stadium with the most successful captains, i.e. Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni, leading their teams in the middle.
