Recently, Murali Vijay, former Indian Cricketer and CSK’s star player, had an Instagram live chat session with sports producer Rupha Ramani for his IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings.

During the session, Vijay had talked about how much he misses playing on the ground in this lockdown period. Vijay also had replied a few queries from his fans. And in one of the many queries, a fan had asked Murli Vijay to name two Cricketers he would like to have dinner with.

In an interesting reply, Murli Vijay had named Australian Women’s cricket star Ellyse Perry and his fellow India opener Shikhar Dhawan to be the two cricketers, he wishes to dine with.

“Ellyse Perry. I want to have dinner with her. She is so beautiful. And Shikhar Dhawan any day. He is a fun guy. Just that he will speak Hindi and I will be conversing in Tamil,” Murali Vijay had said.

Now, after almost a half month, Ellyse has answered to the Murli Vijay’s wish for a dinner. On Sunday, during a Live Session with TV presenter Ridhima Pathak on Instagram, Ellyse Perry, who was still unknown with the story so far, responded to Murali Vijay’s desire as she replied, “I hope he’s paying. That’s very kind of him. I’m flattered,” she further added.

Ellyse Perry is one of the iconic players in Women’s cricket. The all-rounder from Australia also has a great fan following for her game and charming personality. Murali Vijay was also trolled heavily for his wish by netizens, as the Australian all-rounder is married to Rugby star Matt Toomua since 2015.

On the other hand, Murali Vijay hogged the limelight when he made back to back debuts in Test Cricket and IPL respectively in 2008 and 2009. With a solid technique along with the power game, he became an indispensable member of Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming seasons. The Champion player was all set to represent CSK in IPL 2020, before the COVID-19 outbreak put all the plans in jeopardy.
