During the Vitality Blast, a match between Sussex and Hampshire at Hove witnessed a strange run-out. Hampshire wicket-keeper Lewis McManus runs out Sussex’s Laurie Evans in a Bizarre way. Lewis McManus waited for the batsman to go out from the crease, and then he stumped. Laurie Evans was not looking happy with this decision.

In this match, Hampshire Won the toss and invited Sussex to bat first.  Sussex got a good start, and they added 55 runs in the power-play with the loss of one wicket. Their Opening Batsman Philip Salt scored a brilliant half-century. He made 76 runs in 43 balls with the help of 7 fours and three sixes. At the end of the Sussex inning, Dawid Vise played a good cameo and scored 44 runs in 29 balls. Also, Rashid khan played some good shots and scored 22 runs in just seven balls. Sussex set the target of 189 runs for Hampshire.

In the bowling for Hampshire, Chris wood took two wickets. In the run chase, Hampshire could not get a good start. They lost their first three wickets at just 18 runs. But after that, Rilee Rassow and Liam Dawson added 48 runs for the fourth wicket. Liam Dawson got out after scoring 25 runs. Rilee scored a fifty but failed to chase down the target for the team, and Sussex won the match by 14 runs.

In the bowling for Sussex, Reece Topley took four wickets and helped the team to win the match. He awarded with the player of the match awarded. After the match, Reece Topley said, “I got hit for six, and they had to get the spare ball out. The other one started swinging, which was nice! You bowl to the plan and hope it comes off and thankfully it did.”
