After the announcement of the Contract List of International players by the BCCI, the speculations about Dhoni’s career is on all-time high. People are giving mixed reactions to the move taken by BCCI on the social media platforms. Since the announcement of the list, most of the people are assuming that Dhoni might have played his last match for the Man in Blue and we might not see him again in the Blue Jersey anymore. While some are still hopeful that they will get to see him in the Indian Colours again.
Veteran India spinner Harbhajan Singh also gave his reaction to the situation. The veteran off-spinner said that It might be the end of Dhoni and he also heard previously that the recent 50-overs would be his last event for India.
Harbhajan Singh told India Today, “It is probably the end of the road for MS Dhoni. I heard the World Cup would be his last event for India – after that he won’t play for India again. He had made up his mind long back and that is why he has not made himself available.”

Though BCCI has not released any official statement regarding the same but people are continuously trying to get more details about the situation. A BCCI official also talked to PTI and tried to put his point and also clarified the situation a little bit. He said, “Let me clarify that one of the top-most BCCI office-bearers spoke to MS and told him about how they are going about in the central contracts. He was clearly told that since he hasn’t played any game in the said period (September 2019 till date), he cannot be included for the time being.”
FYI, the former Indian skipper was in the Grade A category in the last year’s list of contracted players. But the veteran batsman has not played any kind of cricket since last year’s world cup. He took a sabbatical just after the World Cup and since then he has not made himself available again for the selection.
