India’s playing XI against Australia chose by Former Indian Cricketer After a horrible loss against hosts in the opening test, the visitors are reckoning to gain some mandatory needs to the team. Right now team is struggling with the best order and which resulted in huge loss. Stage is under fire yet and now the skipper Virat Kohli has also left the team so team has to recombine the best order for the remaining matches.
So to confine the best order, Former Indian Cricketer Gautam Gambhir came up with best playing XI of Indian team ahead of Boxing Day Test against Australia. The second test will be going to held at 26th December at Melbourne.
Two changes are must for team due to the absence of players like Virat Kohli and Mohammad Shami. The pacer has sustained a fracture in the first test. With this two changes team will also look at those players whose performance was low.
After bad performance from Prithvi Shaw, Gambhir said if he doesn’t deliver the best then Shubman Gill should be given chance to open for the team with Mayank Agarwal and Pujara should go with 3rd spot.
“I wanted Prithvi Shaw to start the series because if a player has scored a hundred and two fifties in four Test matches and hit a fifty in the last tough tour to New Zealand, then you start with him, no doubt the form was not good.” Said by Gambhir.
“But now in the type of form he is in, more than the form his confidence is very low, so I will want to see Shubman Gill at the top along with Mayank Agarwal and Pujara at No.3,” quoted by Gautam Gambhir.
If Rahane is the captain now, he has to lead from the front: Gautam Gambhir
“I will want to see Rahane at No.4. I will not want to see Rahane stay at No.5 because if he is the captain now, he has to lead from the front. So, Rahane should play at No.4 in the place of Virat Kohli. KL Rahul should play at No.5 and Pant at No.6,”.
One more changes was sorted by Gambhir that Ravindra Jadeja should replace Hanuman Vihari as he hasn’t done the best for team yet.
“Jadeja and Ashwin should play at No.7 & No.8 and then three seamers. I will want to go in with five bowlers”. Quoted by Gambhir.
