IPL 2021 Auction to most probably held on 11th February

With the great success by the IPL-2020, BCCI is moving towards to gain more attention and profit by conducting another edition of India’s league within a short span and it is expected that the 15th edition of Indian Premier League to he held in the month of April.

With tournament on the date every franchises is looking for the auction to buy better and prominent players for the upcoming edition. It is said that the IPL 2021 Auction could take place in the month of February on dated as 11th .

With time left less, BCCI and the management has revealed a short notice on the deadline for the franchises to submit the name of retained players by till 20th January.

It is yet to be decided that the tournament should be played in India or again to be shifted to overseas conditions.

It is also said that the reports that BCCI is to release the tender of agreement on the month of April and the base price fixed by the management for the franchises is 1500 Cr.

“Nothing has been officially discussed about the base price as yet. But during the BCCI AGM we discussed the matter informally. Ownership of IPL team is now a very prized asset and we feel the base price for the new IPL Team will be nothing less than 1500 Cr or probably more,”. Said by officials of the BCCI.

It is confirmed that the IPL-2021 will be played only after England Tour which is expected to be conclude on 28th March.

The series consists of four test, three ODIs and five T20Is against English Team. The series will commence from 5th February and T20Is will start from 12th March to 20th March.

With after this conclusion of the series, BCCI will conduct the Indian Premier League. The probable date for the commencement of league is said to be 10th April 2021.
