Jharkhand is going to play Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy without MS Dhoni

Whenever we are talking about the legend of wicket keeping only one name comes in everyone’s mind that is Former Indian cricketer and captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He is considered as one of the legends in the cricketing history and achieved every feat in the game. On August 15,2020 he shocked every fans and players after announcing the retirement from all the formats of the game.

His decision was much surprising and shocking to everyone. His sixteen years of career was always been glorious. In his career he scored a mammoth score of total 17,000 runs with blistering 800 plus dismissals in the international cricket.

After retirement he has only played Indian Premier League-2020 edition and scored 200 runs with an average of 25 in 14 games. His highest score was 47. After his performance everyone was believed that he may also retire from the IPL but with his statement in the last league game against Kings XI Punjab, he stated that he will be their in the next edition for sure which will happen in the March-April.

MS Dhoni stayed on his retirement decision and is not going to appear in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Jharkhand. This year’s edition of IPL was also disappointing for him and the Chennai campaign as they couldn’t create impact and became the first team to be knocked out.

Suresh Raina to lead Uttar Pradesh team

Both Dhoni and Raina took the decision of retirement together on 15th August from all forms of the game but Raina now came out of the retirement and now he is going to appear in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and moreover he is going to lead Uttar Pradesh. He has not played in matches yet and will appear directly in the domestic tournament. Let’s see how he is going to carry the team.
