One month has gone by since the inaugural match of #Dream11 IPL 2020. All the 8 teams have played 9 matches each and it’s been a thrill to watch so far. In these four weeks, we have had four super overs, one double super over, few exciting chases, a lot of hitting, a couple of Tewatia specials, KKR’s captaincy change, Delhi Capitals’ injury concerns, a much-awaited Gayle Storm and finally KXIP holding their nerves in crucial moments.
Two of the most balance squads – Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians are sitting at top two positions of table with 7 wins and 6 wins respectively in 9 matches. Following them is RCB with 6 wins out of 9 matches. While KKR is placed 4th with 10 points, four teams SRH, KXIP, CSK and RR are tied at 6 points each with NRR separating them.
But after the yesterday’s match between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians, MI captain Rohit Sharma didn’t come to talk to presenter in the post match presentation. In place of Rohit Sharma, Kieron Pollard came and talked to presenter.
Kieron Pollard provides an important update that why Rohit Sharma didn’t come.
“I was told that he’s (Rohit) not feeling well, that’s why I’m here to chat with you guys. We’ll see what happens but he’s a fighter,” Pollard stated in the post-match presentation.
“He’s (Bumrah) a world-class cricketer. He has been number one in a couple of formats for a long period of time. He has learned and has gone leaps and bounds for us at Mumbai Indians in a run of while and so. We have comfort in him. A couple of years ago, we had a fit and fair Lasith Malinga and he (Bumrah) has taken over that mantle now and so,” the Trinidad all-rounder added in the post-match presentation.
