After a successful conclusion of 13th edition of Indian Premier League even under COVID-19, BCCI is marching towards the 14th edition and for this they had officially released the guidelines which should be followed by each and every franchise.
As the upcoming season will played between all those of eight teams so there is no consideration towards mega auction so mini auction will be conducted whereas the mega auction is on the notes for the 15th edition of IPL that is on 2022 where two more teams will be included.
The IPL Governing Council has gave strict notes to franchises to deposit all the retained and released players name till 21st January while it is expected that the mini auction for IPL-14 will take place on 11th February.
The usual rules on the board yet as one team can retain total of five players through Right to Match (RTM) Card. The remaining bidding amount will be calculated according to the prediction out of the retained players for each franchises.
Remaining Amount left out for Bidding
After a disappointing season by CSK, they are aiming to re built the team for few years so there are chances of release of few big names and the amount left for them are 0.15 Crore.
Royal Challengers Bangalore have total of 6.4 Crores in their wallet for bidding whereas Kolkata Knight Riders has 8.5 Crore. Rohit led Mumbai Indians has total of 1.95 Crore in their purse but it is unknown that they will release any player or not as they have yet the most dominating team.
Kings XI Punjab has 16.5 Crore in their wallet while Sunrisers Hyderabad having an amount of total 10.1 Crore.
Rajasthan Royals has bidding amount of total 14.75 Crore whereas the runner-ups of IPL-2020 Delhi Capitals has 9 Crores in their kitty respectively.
