The BCCI has received over 2000 applications for the Team India’s support staff. There are many big names in the applicants, which could have possibly served as a threat to incumbent Ravi Shastri, as per a report in Bangalore Mirror. Some of the candidate who has confirmed their name that they apply for the team India’s head coach Role. Here the list of applicants for team India’s head coach:-
Robin Singh was the former Indian all-rounder and retired from cricket in 2001. After that, he started his coaching career and became the coach of the India U-19 team. He started his IPL career as the head coach of Deccan Chargers. Robin Singh gained recognition as a coach when he becomes the head coach of Mumbai Indias. Later he became the Batting coach of Mumbai Indians.
Lalchand Rajput currently is the head coach of Zimbabwe team. He also coached the Afghanistan team from 2016 to 2017. Apart from this, Lalchand Rajput is the coach of the Winning Hawks in Global T20 Canada League.

He coached the Sri Lanka team in 20077 world cup and helped the Sri Lanka team to reach into the finals. Tom Moody also coached two IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab and Sunrises Hyderabad. He helped summaries Hyderabad to win the IPL title in 2016. Tom moody recently appointed the head coach of rangpur riders team in the Bangladesh premier league.
Mahela Jayawardene helped to reach Sri Lanka team into the finals of World cup 2011; he scored a century in the finals of world cup 2011. Mahela Jayawardene has the head coach of Mumbai Indian and helped Mumbai Indian to win two IPL trophies.
