During the South Group match of the ongoing Vitality T20 Blast between Somerset versus Middlesex, Somerset players Max Waller takes an outstanding catch to dismiss Middlesex batsman AB De Villiers when he was batting on 32 runs. Middlesex needed to win this match if they want to qualify for the Quarterfinals of T20 Blast 2019 and they won the match and reached in the quarter-finals where they can face Nottinghamshire on September 05.
In this match, Somerset won the toss and opted to bat first and set the target of 227 runs for the Middlesex. Somerset could not get a good start, and they lost their first two wickets on 41 runs. But after that, Tom Banton and Tom Abell added 77 runs for the third wicket. Tom Banton got out after scoring 62 runs in just 39 balls While Tom Abell added 95 runs for the fourth wicket with Edward Byrom. Tom Anell scored an outstanding century for Somerset. He scored unbeaten 101 runs in 47 balls with the help of 13 fours and three sixes.
In the bowling for Middlesex, Roland jones took two wickets. Middlesex got a good start in the run chase. Their openers added 67 runs for the first wicket in just 3.5 overs. Eoin Morgan plays an outstanding knock to help the team to win the match. AB De Villiers scored 32 runs in 16 balls. When he was batting on 32 runs, bowler bowled a short delivery, and he played a shot with full-power, but Max Waller took an outstanding catch to dismiss AB De Villiers on Boundary.
