Former Australia cricketer Michael Hussey picks Ricky Pointing over MS Dhoni as best ODI captain and Indian premier League over Big Bash League in a recent interview with ESPNcricinfo. When choosing the best ODI captain, Michael Hussey said, “It’s a tough one, well, I will have to say, Ricky. I never played in ODIs with MS Dhoni so that I will go with Ricky.”
Under Dhoni, Hussey won two IPL titles in 2011 and 2012 and established himself as a fan-favourite among the CSK fans. Hussey currently works as the batting coach of the Dhoni-led side in the IPL. He also picks Chennai Super Kings over Mumbai Indians.
Hussey had the chance to play in the Big Bash League and the Indian Premier League, which are recognized as the two most active cricket leagues, but in terms of competition, Hussey feels IPL is the toughest competition.

Michael Hussey has played 185 ODIs and 79 Tests for Australia and scores more than 10,000 runs. He was known to be the classical player with a very sound batting technique during his run in the international cricket.
