One week away to start the ICC cricket world cup 2019. Today, world cup warm-up matches will start. So teams are started to check their strength and weakness. Cricket fraternity starts to pick their favorite team for CWC. Michael Vaughan picks his combined world cup 2019 XI.
Michael Vaughan selected Rohit Sharma and David Warner. He said, “[Rohit Sharma] hasn’t just scored centuries, he has scored double centuries. David Warner gets in all my format teams- tests, ODIs and T20s.” At number three he added Virat Kohli in his XI.
Ben Stokes picks as an allrounder. Michael Vaughan said, “High-class allrounder, always in the game, whether with the bat in hand, the ball in hand or in the field. He’ll always create an impact.” Jos Buttler is the wicket-keeper option in his XI.
He picked Pat Cummins as the fast bowling all-rounder. Michael Vaughan said, “An incredible new ball bowler, in the middle with some strong hitting with the bat and high class in the field.”
Describe Jasprit Bumrah, Michael Vaughan said, “The best white ball bowler in the world, quality at the start and outstanding at the death. Probably the best yorker bowler in world cricket as we speak.”
Michael Vaughan also spoke about England’s chances of winning the world cup 201. He said, “It’s the best opportunity in my time for England – I remember 1992 as a youngster, watching that final at college. They got to the semi-finals of the Champions Trophy [in 2017] two years ago but didn’t get over the line on that occasion. They’ve got to see that as a real positive experience and if they get into the semis again, play smart cricket.”
