Today, BBCI has announced Team India’s Squad for the Bangladesh series. Indian Captain Virat Kohli takes rest from Bangladesh T20I series, but he will join the team before test series. MS Dhoni is not part of this series. Dhoni took the break from cricket after the world cup 2019, and he continues this. No one really knows that when MS Dhoni comeback from break and play cricket.
But according to reports, Dhoni will join the senior Jharkhand team for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20s starting on November 8; he is likely to practice with under-23 boys. Reports further suggest that Dhoni will back in the Indian team from Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka team will travel India at the start of the next year for a bilateral series. But then if he misses Sri Lanka series, then he will surely return for the New Zealand tour if the reports are to be believed.
“He spoke to a support staff of the senior Jharkhand team, but as they would be leaving for Surat to participate in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20s starting on November 8, he is likely to practice with under-23 boys at the stadium,” said a source close to developments told Indian Express.
“He has started working on his fitness by training at the gym. He also plays badminton, tennis and billiards at the venue. They all are part of his preparations. He might start playing competitive cricket from January which means he will not be a part of the Jharkhand team for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He is preparing himself for the World T20 scheduled in Australia from October 18 to November 15. He might prefer the shortest format in days to come and will definitely play for Chennai Super Kings in IPL next year,” the source further added.
