Pakistan lost the ODI series against England by 4-0. Last month Pakistan announced their world cup 2019 squad. But any team makes changes in their world cup squad before 23 may without ICC permission after that teams need to take the permission of ICC.  Today Pakistan makes three changes in their world cup squad.

Junaid Khan, Abid Ali and Faheem Ashraf dropped from Pakistan’s primary world cup 2019 squad.  Now They added Mohammed Amir, Wahab Riaz and Asif Ali in their main world cup 2019 squad.

Chief selector Inzamam Said, “Wahab’s ability to reverse swing the ball got him selected. Nobody expected the pitches in the UK will play flat even in the early season there.”

Indian cricket team schedule 2019-20

Wahab Riaz last played a limited overs game for Pakistan in the 2017 champion trophy. So this was the surprise call from Pakistan’s selector. Where Asif Ali scored two half-centuries in the recent England versus Pakistan series and impressed the selectors. Sarfaraz Khan will lead the Pakistan side in the CWC 2019.

Shoaib Malik is going to play his last World cup after that maybe he retires from international cricket. So Malik can try to give his best to win the world cup, and Pakistan teams also want to give a retirement gift to Shoaib Malik. Pakistan’s opener Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam both are looking in tremendous touch during Pakistan versus England series. So they can try to continue this form through the world cup. But their bowling does not give them confidence, but the addition of Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Amir in the bowling makes their bowling attack strong.

Here is the Pakistan cricket team for world cup 2019:-

Sarfaraz Ahmed (wk, c), Asif Ali, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Sohail, Hasan Ali, Imad Wasim, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shoaib Malik.
