The most successful team of the history of Indian Premier League, Mumbai Indians has started their preparations for another season. They never disappoints their fan as they always been the favorites among all. With the initiation of preparation, Mumbai Indians brought Parthiv Patel as Talent scout for the Mumbai franchise in the upcoming edition of IPL. On Wednesday, Wicket-keeper Batsman announced retirement from all formats of the game. He was also the part of Mumbai Indians campaign in 2015,2017 respectively. With the start of the next season, this time Parthiv Patel now appointed as target scout of Mumbai Indians.

“I had enjoyed my cricket playing for Mumbai Indians, those momentous three years with the champion sides remain etched in my memory,” quoted by Parthiv Patel.

“It’s time now to turn a new chapter in my life. I am excited, confident and thankful to the Mumbai Indians management for the opportunity presented to me,” said by Parthiv Patel.

Patel has always been a tremendous performer in the domestic tournaments as well as in the IPL tournament for over two decades.

Akash Ambani quoted on welcoming Parthiv Patel to their family as “I am delighted to have Parthiv joining us. We had the opportunity to pick his cricketing brain during his playing days at Mumbai Indians,”.

“I am very confident of his contribution to further enhance our scouting system with the depth of cricketing knowledge he possesses. Parthiv Patel understands our ideology, the DNA of Mumbai Indians and what we are trying to create at MI. We welcome Parthiv to our one family,” added by Akash Ambani .

PP marched to the international cricket against England in 2003 at Trent Bridge when he was aged only of 17years and 153 days and became the youngest wicket keeper of all time.

He played 38 ODIs, 25 tests and 2T20Is and registered a total of 1,706 runs in all the formats. He has featured in multiple franchises in his career of IPL. He featured in Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Deccan Chargers, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL. He led Gujarat to their first maiden Ranji trophy title in season 2016-17. He was also appointed as the skipper of Kochi Tuskers Kerala in the IPL2011. With his immense knowledge towards the condition of the game will definitely help the young talent and guide team to new era of knowledge. It will definitely help Mumbai Indians ahead of Indian Premier League 14th Edition.
