Pravin Tambe to play for Maratha Arabians in the Abu Dhabi T10 League

After many global leagues, now Abu Dhabi T10 League is going to play their respective tournament and one of the good news is that an Indian player is going to showcase his talent in the tournament. That’s none other than Pravin Tambe, a 49 year old leg spinner who has been signed for Maratha Arabians in the upcoming fourth edition of the league. The league will take place from 28th January 2021 to 6th February 2021.

Pravin Tambe has been set signed from the list of 600 players and Maratha Arabians boarded his name for the team.

In the meeting held for the league which took place on 23rd December, and discussed that eight teams are going to participate and arranged in two equal groups. Group-A represented by four teams that is the defending champions Maratha Arabians, Northern Warriors, Bangla Tigers and Delhi Bulls whereas the Group-B consists of Deccan Gladiators, Pune Devils, Qalandars and Team Abu Dhabi.

He has also emerged as the first Indian cricketer to represent in the Caribbean Premier League and was the key member of Trinbago Knight Riders. He has represented in many global leagues and has also played for Sindhis in the T10 league of Sharjah where he took 8 wickets in span of just 4 matches with five wicket haul.

The leg spinner came into the limelight when he played for Rajasthan Royals made debut in the age of 41 in year 2014. He also took a hat trick against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Along with players like Shoaib Malik, Laurie Evans, Taskin Ahmed , Mosaddek Hossain, Shan Malhotra, Abdul Shakoor and Sompal Kami, Tambe will represent.

The tournament will he broadcasted by Sony Sports Network and will also live streaming in Fancode app.
