Ravindra Jadeja and Sanjay Manjrekar dual is not new to the cricket world. In the recent Cricket World Cup 2019, Jadeja just tore apart the former cricketer for calling him a bits and pieces player.
Sanjay Manjrekar and Ravindra Jadeja has come up with another dual on twitter after the second T20 international between India and New Zealand. Though this one is more of a healthy banter as Sanjay Manjrekar played it well and calmly to make sure things do not heat up like the CWC 2019 dual.
In the second T20I against New Zealand, Indian bowlers managed to restrict New Zealand to a below par total of 132. Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrahwere phenomenal in the middle and death overs respectively. Ravindra Jadejawas the pick of the bowlers as he gave away just 18 runs in his full quota of four overs along with picking two crucial wickets of the Kiwi captain Kane Williamson and Colin de Grandhomme.
After a wonderful bowling performance by India in second T20I against New Zealand at Eden Park. Sanjay Manjrekar tweeted, “Player of the match should have been a bowler”.
Player of the match should have been a bowler. #INDvNZ

To this, Ravindra Jadeja, who performed exceedingly well in the T20I, replied, “What is the name of that bowler?? Pls pls mention,” in pretty cheeky fashion.

Sanjay Manjrekar somehow managed the situation calmly and came up with a polite reply this time. He replied, “Ha ha…Either you or Bumrah. Bumrah, because he was extremely economical while bowling overs no 3, 10, 18 and 20..”
This is what happened in the last year’s World Cup in England. While commentary Sanjay Manjrekar called Jadeja a ‘bits and pieces’ player. Jadejafuriously reacted to the statement from the former cricketer and replied, “Still I have played twice the number of matches you have played and I m still playing. Learn to respect ppl who have achieved. i have heard enough of your verbal diarrhoea.” Jadeja had a good world cup last year as he came up with a stunning innings in the semi-final against New Zealand albeit in a loosing cause.
