Every fans first thought when the fourth day of the third test match was conducted, that Australians will win the match and would lead the Border-Gavaskar Trophy but who thought that results would be something different.

On the fifth day, India was best among everyone and spoiled the party of hosts and visitors successfully secured the match with drawn status. In the third test, when Indian openers landed on the pitch Rohit and Gill carried the responsibility and gave good start then it was the crucial partnership between Cheteshwar Pujara and Rishabh Pant who carried a core partnership of 148 runs by scoring 77 runs and 97 runs respectively.

Then the heroic performance was taken by Hanuman Vihari and Ravichandran Ashwin who played throughout and secured the final status by Drawn. His verbal war with Ashwin was also a kind of negative controversy for him and the catch drop by him of Vihari has also put team on high pressure.

After the third test match, Sunil Gavaskar was disappointed with the behaviour by Tim Paine showed on the ground and suggested that he should be sabotaged from the skipper Post of Australian Team.

“Tim Paine should be removed as Australia captain after the series. His behaviour doesn’t befit a captain. He should be talking less and focusing instead on taking catches and leading his side better,” said by Gavaskar on a chat show with India Today.

With this drawn status in the Sydney Test will embark both the team on levelled series of 1-1. Now the Gabba Test that means the fourth and the final test will declare the winner of Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The last test match will be played at Brisbane on 15th January 2021.

Indian Team will be in high confidence as the comeback they carried after 36 all out nightmare in the first test to win the historic match at Melbourne to carry the team with losing status to draw as with the absence of star players.
