Between the third test series, many analysts came up with predictions that hosts will be more dominant over visitors and talking on that Former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting stated on twitter that India would not even cross 200 runs in the fourth innings. But after the match, the way Indian Team has played against Australia, they had shut down the mouth of every haters.

India has drawn the series, after battling the way they had batted. It was all because of that epic partnership between Rishabh Pant and Cheteshwar Pujara who scored 148 runs for the fourth wicket. Both the players almost put the pressure off from the team and almost took the match from hands of hosts.

With building knock by Pujara made Team into a stable position where he scored 77 runs off 205balls whereas young talent Rishabh Pant was on fire with bat and scored 97 runs off 118balls.

After both the players lost wickets, Hanuman Vihari and Ravichandran Ashwin took all the responsibility and made team to secure the match draw, and maintained the match by 5 wickets.

Talking on this match, Ricky Ponting predicted earlier that the visitors cant even score 200 runs in the fourth inning.

To troll on this statement, Virender Sehwag trolled him by posting picture of Rishabh Pant who looking at Ponting taken from IPL whereas Wasim Jaffer also join the hands in trolling Ponting but deleted immediately.

After this troll, Ricky Ponting came back again and said on the reply by quoting

“So much for the prediction of India scoring under 200, this pitch hasn’t deteriorated anywhere near what I was expecting. Like the way Rishabh Pant’s playing, it’s the perfect approach to take in these conditions. And now it’s game on # AUSvIND.

Earlier it was said that the third test was the decider match but now with the draw all eyes will be on the last test match which will be played at Gabba in Brisbane. That match will take who will clinch the Border-Gavaskar series.
