Rituraj Gaikwad, the young talented batsman of Chennai Super Kings, has tested negative for Covid-19 and joins the Chennai Super kings camp on Monday.  Rituraj Gaikwad was one of the two players- who have tested positive of Covid-19 a few days back.

While Deepak Chahar, the other player, have already joined the CSK ‘s bio-bubble following two consecutive negative reports.

Last month, Chennai Super Kings had suffered a huge blow when 13 of its staff members have tested Covid-19 positive just days after landing in the UAE. CSK also lost two of its seasoned campaigners in Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh, when they pulled out of IPL 2020 citing personal reasons.

Chennai Super Kings won the season opener by 5- wickets. After Mumbai posted 162 runs on the board, Chennai chased down the target with 4-balls to spare. Ambati Rayudu and Faf du Plessis were the star performers of the match with their twin fifties. With the win CSK also narrowed down the win-loss gap against Mumbai Indians. So far, CSK has 12-17 win-loss record and will look to further improve it in upcoming matches. CSK has won the Indian Premier League titles three times, in the leadership of MS Dhoni. Ms Dhoni has retired from International cricket.

Chennai Super Kings will face Rajasthan Royals in their next match on September 22 in Sharjah while Royals will be pleyed their first match of the Indian Premier League 2020.
