India leg-spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal threw up a lovely surprise on Saturday when he announced his engagement to Dhanashree Verma. Dhanashree Verma, apart from being a choreographer, is also a doctor and a YouTuber. Chahal has also appeared on a few Zoom workshops with her lady-love earlier during the lockdown. And after knowing each other, the Couple got engaged on Saturday and even performed the divine ‘Roka’ ritual in presence of family.

Chahal shared two lovely pictures – one with his lady love and the other one with both families – from the divine ceremony on his Instagram account. Sharing the picture from their engagement ceremony, he wrote: “We said Yes, along with our families.”

The lovely couple received loads of accolades from every corners of world as the news broke out like wild fire. From the fans to cricket fraternity, everyone wished the lovely couple healthy and prosperous life.

Chahal, for the funny character he is off and on the field, often indulges in funny banters and trolls with his friends and teammates for amusement. However, this time, he fell prey to Rohit Sharma and Virendra Sehwag as both came up with brutal posts to make the 30-year-old taste his own medicine.

With the engagement, Yuzi also made entry to the seniors/married club of team India players and Rohit Sharma welcomed him with a brutal troll over the same. While posting a meme that read: “Yuzvendra Chahal with a youngster in IPL 2050 “, Rohit brutally trolled him along with the wishes for the lovely couple.

On the other hand, Virendra Sehwag almost destroyed the leg-spinner by a post inspired from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for “Turning a disaster into an opportunity”.

Both Yuzvendra Chahal and Rohit Sharma will soon return to the action in Indian Premier League 2020. After six months of complete break, both the champions will look to start on a positive note. While Yuzi will try to win RCB their maiden IPL title, Rohit will be glad to add one more title to his name.
