Now in a recent interview, when a reporter asked Rohit Sharma about Farokh’s comment, Rohit gives the best answer.
“Neither am I the President nor the captain, a regular captain. So what should I say about this? So, ask him [Farokh Engineer] why did he say that? I haven’t said anything, so, what should I say? I cannot go into Farokh Sir’s head and see why he said that” Rohit Sharma on the question of Farokh Engineer Comment.

“We didn’t have any problem when we played the Test match here [vs Sri Lanka in 2017]. We are not aware of the exact discussion and I haven’t had any problem,” Sharma was quoted as saying.
“Nothing comes easy in Test cricket. In the initial phase of my Test career, I was giving too much respect to the bowlers while forgetting that I have to keep playing my natural game. I will keep playing my shots in the future as well even if people start criticizing me. I will keep backing my game. I know what the team management has told me and I have been given a role. Even if 10 innings don’t work out the way I want, it won’t affect me as the team management backing is very important. If I can keep doing that, the team will be in a very dominant position in Test cricket,” Rohit Sharma said on Aaj Tak.
