Rohit Sharma told about the venue of IPL 2019 finals, He said

“Hyderabad is a neutral venue for both the teams. Both teams have played over here in the past. So, I don’t think the venue will play a major factor. Important to assess the pitch as soon as we get in. Whether we’re batting first or bowling first, it’ll be crucial to know what’s a par score. Being Indians, we’ve played at Hyderabad. It’s important for us to pass the information to our overseas guys. We had a good outing when we last played here.”

He also spoke about the team preparation ahead of final, he said

“For us as a team, it’s important to focus on the game and play it. We won’t be bothered by the past – who has won how many trophies will not matter. We just want to play good cricket tomorrow. The focus will be on how we play as a team. That’s what we’ve done throughout the season. Tomorrow will be no different. The hunger that these guys have for success is massive. We’ve created a friendly atmosphere. They play their cricket with passion.”

“It’s a special feeling to play the final,” Rohit added.

“The preparations didn’t start when we met as a team this season. It started soon after we couldn’t make it to the Playoffs last year. We were targeting the guys that we wanted for this season. Winning the fourth title or being the most successful team doesn’t matter. For us what matters is – how we can improve as a team and move forward,” he further added.

“The Mumbai Indians scout team deserves credit. Going around the globe and watching domestic cricket does make a difference. We are very particular in terms of how we prepare. Credit to the players as well for stepping up and performing when it mattered the most. We’ve spoken to the guys not to be too emotional about the final and treat it like a normal game. I try and keep things very simple. I’ve been lucky to have a team like this. The support staff makes my job easy. They plan behind the doors to make us a success. I believe in strategy. I believe in planning. That’s worked for me and the team as well,” he added.
