Ex-Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir who recently Joined Politics. Gautam Gambhir Run the General election from east Delhi for BJP. He played an important role in the world cup 2011 finals for India. He scored 97 runs under pressure and India won the World cup 2019.

In a promotional event, Gautam Gambhir said,

“I think he is probably right up there. He has won four IPL trophies and if you talk about IPL cricket, he is the most successful captain. He captained the team in Asia Cup and won it so not only as an option he is probably next to Virat Kohli.”

Gambhir said that Rohit Sharma won the IPL trophy 4th time and also won the Asia cup last year. So he will be the next Indian captain after Virat Kohli. Rohit Sharma leads Mumbai Indians while Virat Kohli leads royal challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. Virat could not win the IPL trophy while Rohit Sharma won the IPL trophy four times.

In ODIs, Rohit Sharma led the Indian team in 10 matches and won 8 matches out of them. His win percentage is 80. While Virat Kohli won 49 matches out of 65 ODI matches and his win percentage is 78. Whenever Virat Kohli takes a break from cricket, Rohit leads the side.

In the T20s, Rohit Sharma’s winning record is better than Virat Kolhi. Rohit won 12 matches out of 15 matches while Virat won 12 matches out of 22 matches. Recently Rohit became the first captain to win a t20 match in New Zealand.

At the end of this month, the world cup 2019 will be started. Virat Kohli will lead the Indian time while Rohit will be the vice-captain of the team. Team India will start their world cup campaign from June 5 against South Africa.
