After the Indian Premier League 2020, West Indies will travel to New Zealand for a bilateral series. During this tour, West Indies and New Zealand will play 3 T20Is and two tests. The tour will begin from November 27 with the T20I series.

But before the series, Big blow for West Indies is that their star all-Rounder DJ Bravo ruled out from this series due to injury. He will miss the cricket for next few months.

Romario Shepherd will replace him in the West Indies team for the New Zealand tour.

“I was really looking forward to the tour of New Zealand as it has been so many months since I last wore maroon in Sri Lanka back in March and we are all so excited about building towards defending our T20 World Cup next year. Unfortunately, the injury I sustained on Saturday playing for CSK has not only ruled me out of the IPL but also the tour,” Bravo said on windiescricket.com.

“I’m making arrangements to return to Trinidad over the next few days where I will continue my rehab and treatment.”

In the meantime, Romario Shepherd is looking forward to grabbing the opportunity with both hands. He made his international debut in 2019 against Afghanistan.

DJ Bravo Left the emotional message for CSK fans

“It’s sad news, it’s sad to be leaving my team CSK. To all our CSK fans, I want you all to keep encouraging the team, keep supporting, all the true die-hard CSK fans. This wasn’t a season that we expected or our fans wanted, but we gave it our best. Sometimes, our best, the results don’t show,” Bravo said in the video message shared by Chennai Super Kings.
