A few days ago, all the eight IPL franchises have been submitted their release and retain players list ahead of the Indian Premier League 2020 auction. In that order, Royal Challengers Bangalore has released several players like Simron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Colin De Grandhomme and serval other players. RCB has retained only two overseas players for IPL 2020. These two players are AB De Villiers and Moeen Ali.
RCB has left 12 players slot in which six overseas players slot left for the auction and the remaining purse is 27.90 crores. RCB has failed to win the IPL title. They reached in the finals three times but couldn’t cross the line. Last time in 2016, RCB reached in the finals of IPL but lost against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Virat Kohli to lead Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2020
Royal Challengers Bangalore has given a massive update (on social Media platform) ahead of the Indian premier league 2020 and announced, Virat Kohli, will lead their side in IPL 2020. Virat is the only player in IPL history who is the part of only one team in all 13 seasons. He Joined the RCB team in the Indian premier league 2008 and thereafter he has played for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

RCB has been appointed new support staff for the next season in which Simon Katich has appointed the head coach of the team. Former New Zealand coach Mike Hessen is the director of the team. Navnita Gautam has been appointed as the massage therapist. Royal Challengers Bangalore becomes the only team in which a women staff.
Indian Premier League 2020 auction will take place in Kolkata on December 20. It will be a mini Auction.
