After the world cup 2019, everyone thought that MS Dhoni would take retirement from international cricket, but he didn’t take. However, after the world cup, he takes a break from cricket. India will play their next series against South Africa. The series will start from September 15 with the three-match T20I series. MS Dhoni will not be part of this series.
Yesterday, India captain Virat Kohli posted a pic on Instagram and Twitter with the caption, “A game I can never forget. Special night. This man, made me run like in a fitness test 😄 @msdhoni” the post reminds us of a match of T20 world cup 2016 against Australia. After this post, a rumour was on-trend that MS Dhoni will take retirement from International cricket. But MSK Prasad and Sakshi Dhoni clears all the rumours.
“No update on MS Dhoni’s retirement, the news is incorrect,” Prasad was quoted as saying to the reporters.

Shubman Gill receive his Maiden test call up
Yesterday, BCCI announced team India’s squad for three-match Test series against South Africa. The test series will start from October 02. Selectors give a chance to Shubman Gill in the test team.
“With regards to Shubman Gill, we look at him as an opener as well as a middle-order batsman. We are looking at him as back-up for both the slots. As he keeps playing more and more, he will get his opportunities, because he is a player for all three formats,” Chief Selectors MSK Prasad said.
“Yes, we are definitely looking at him (Rohit) and want to give him an opportunity up the order. He is keen (on opening), and the selection committee, as well as everyone (team management), is keen. We want to see where he stands and then take a call,” he added.
