Former Pakistan Cricket  Captain, Shoaib Malik seems to have put his in the fire as on the occasion of Christmas he posted a photo of his winning celebration on the same day back in 2012. However, what did not go in his favour was the nation Against which he was celebrating. Indian fans did not like the post as besides Shoaib the photo also has Indian legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni in a dejected look after losing the match.

But as we all know, wins and losses are part and parcel of the game, they must be celebrated but not in a manner that aggravates something that can hit you back.

“Merry Christmas dosto, and a very happy 25th December,” posted Shoaib Malik on the twitter with him celebrating the win after a good innings.

The photo was from a Indian – Pakistan match back in 2012 on 25 December, when Shoaib Malik helped his team chase down a target of 134 runs in a T2O match in Banglore. Shoaib Malik stitched  a match winning partnership with his captain Mohammad Hafiz to chase down the target. The duo added a 106 runs partnership for the forth wicket as Shoaib scored 57 not out of 50 balls with the help of three fours  and three sixes and his partner Mohammad Hafeez scoring 61 runs.

Since then India and Pakistan have not played any bilateral series as the international relations between both the countries are at their bitter best. ShoaibMalik last represented Pakistan in recently concluded Cricket World Cup 2019.While MS Dhonj has been on sabbatical since the marquee event.

However, both MS Dhoni and Shoaib Malik would like to represent their team in next year’s T20 World Cup for one last time in the twilight of their careers.
