Shubman Gill is the new youngster who have pretty much shining future ahead. His batting stance matches similar to many of the legends and that makes him different from other players. He came into the limelight after his success in the U-19 World Cup in 2018. India won the U-19 World Cup which was held in New Zealand and Shubman Gill was awarded as the player of the tournament with his brilliant records. That was the stepping stone for this young bud.

After the tremendous performance in U-19, he was instantly got selected in Indian Premier League where he played for Kolkata Knight Riders. He has played three seasons with the franchise and made a good permanent spot. Even he was awarded as the emerging player of the season in 2019. In a very short time period he had managed to achieve many success which was really appreciative. With his constant performance with amazing efforts made him to get selected for the Indian National Squad in 2019 when India during tour of New Zealand. He played couple of matches but couldn’t launch the way what he used to be. He debuted for Indian team in 2019 against New Zealand but didn’t done worth remembering. Now he is selected for the Australian tour in which he was included in the playing XI for the last ODIs match against Australia. Shubman Gill scored 33 runs off 39 balls which consists of 3 fours and 1 six. The last match was played in Canberra. India won the match by 13 runs still, lost the series as Australia were the dominating side by lead of 2-1.

Shubman Gill was eagerly fascinated to play for the national side.

With Indian team regular loss in the ODIs series made Shubman Gill to replace Mayank Agarwal and open for the team. He opened in the match with Shikhar Dhawan. After playing the game, his happiness was beyond the words. For playing the country in that tough situation is appreciable. With joy of happiness he uploaded a picture on social networking site. The pictures was of his batting with skipper Virat Kohli. While in the second picture he was standing with his teammates and that picture includes debutant T Natarajan. For the picture he has captioned, “Great feeling representing my country”.

With this picture former Indian Cricketer Yuvraj Singh trolled Shubman Gill in a hilarious way. His comments explains the actual difference between playing for a local team and for the Indian team.

According to the match, Shubman Gill scored 33 runs off 39 balls consisting of 3 fours and 1 six with a strike rate of 84.62. With his kind of shots, commentators were also impressed whereas got out eventually while playing a sweep shot which was bowled by Ashton Agar.
