The ICC cricket world cup 2019 will be held in England & wales from 30th may to 14th July, 2019. This is the 12th edition of the ICC cricket world cup. 10 international cricket teams are going to participate in world cup this time. All teams have already announced their world cup squad for 2019. Any team can change their squad before 23rd May but after that they have to take permission from ICC to change their squad.

But before the world cup starts, former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly who led the Indian Team to finals of World Cup 2003 but unfortunately lost against Australia in finals, has picked this year world cup probable semi-finalist.

According to him, this world cup will be one of the most “keenly contested” tournament. He said “It’s going to be one of the most keenly contested World Cups. Indian team is so strong that in any tournament they will be favourites. This World Cup will probably be the best format. The best four teams will reach the semi-finals playing all the teams. There are no easy teams.”

He has also picked his probable semi-finalist in this world cup. According to him India along with Australia, England and Pakistan will be semi-finalist of ICC world cup 2019. He said “My pick for the four semifinalists spot would be India, Australia, England and Pakistan. India are one of the title-contenders of course.”

India will be playing their first game against South Africa on June 5 and will be the last team to launch their campaign.

Sourav Ganguly also spoke about Delhi capitals

Sourav ganguly who is currently mentor of Delhi Capitals in IPL 2019 is happy about his team performance. Delhi Capitals are occupying second place in the points table and require only one win from three matches to seal their place in play-offs. On his role in DC fabulous performance, he generously replied “Delhi is a mixture of youth and experience. I can only advice so the credit should go to players who actually execute it.”
