The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is pushing themselves to re install all the international matches in Pakistan as well. They are trying it very hard to achieve. As in Pakistan from a long time all the international matches were banned. But in the this few years their management and the selectors are trying their best to attain the feat again. PCB is now also conducting T20 league as well as they also had international match against Zimbabwe after the pandemic situation. Both the teams played three T20I international match in Pakistan. In the latest reports it has been suggested that Pakistan Cricket Board had admitted that they are going to have visitors as South African team in the next month for three T20Is and two Tests.
This news was the most surprising news for the cricketing journalism as the South African camp will travel to India after a huge gap of 14 years. They last played in 2007 in Pakistan which consisted of five ODIs, one T20Is and three Tests matches respectively. Later on due to visitors safety protocols all the matches from Pakistan were shifter to United Arab Emirates. The 2010 and 2013 tours were played at UAE.
Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the comeback match of South African team on twitter by sharing the information as the opening match of test series will be played at Karachi starts from January 26th whereas the second test will take place from February 4th which will be played at Rawalpindi. The T20Is matches will commence from February 11th, 13th and 14th respectively.
“Upon arrival in Karachi and in the lead up to the first Test, South Africa will observe an isolation period following which they will hold training sessions and play international squad Practice matches,” said by PCB in the press release.
Both the teams will shake hands with exciting series of Tests matches and T20Is.
