This will be the most saddest news for the Indian Cricket Team after knowing that there stunning all rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the Test series after sustaining a left thumb fracture and dislocation, according to ANI.
He was taken out for scans where it has been depicted that he is undergoing fracture which makes him totally unavailable of the last test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
This is a huge blow for the Indian Team as he has been crucial player for the team with both bat and ball respectively in the Test series and has also shown tremendous all rounder performances yet.
Only warming news for visitors is that there is no huge injury scare for wicket keeper Rishabh Pant and he could play the match and the series respectively.
“Ravindra Jadeja has suffered a dislocation and fracture on his left thumb. It will be very difficult for him to wear those gloves and bat,” quoted by BCCI officials.
“In any case, he will be out of action for at least two to three weeks which rules him out of the final Test. Pant will be able to bat as his injury isn’t that serious”.
If Rishabh Pant makes him unavailable for the final test the team have to go with the back wicket keeper and that is Wriddhiman Saha.
“Rishabh Pant was hit on the left elbow while batting in the second session on Saturday. He has been taken for the scans” added by BCCI officials.
He was hit hard by Pat Cummins who bowled a short ball and which was hit on his left elbow.
After the treatment he started to bat but didn’t gone for too long and lost his wicket to Josh Hazlewood.
India is in big trouble as they already a big list of injury Mohammad Shami, Ishant Sharma, KL Rahul, Umesh Yadav and now Ravindra Jadeja.
Even the core player skipper Virat Kohli is also in paternity leave.
