Star RCB player opts himself out from IPL 2021

With just few months away from to start the next edition of Indian Premier League-2021, every players will be in highly enthusiastic to reach out at that stage and talking about to that point, South African player Dale Steyn opts out of the IPL 2021. He makes himself unavailable for the coming edition due to take some rest and to be away from the competitive world of cricket.

“Just a short message to let everyone know that I have made myself unavailable for RCB at this years IPL, I am also not planning on playing for another team, just taking some time off during that period,” quoted by Steyn.

“Thank you RCB for understanding. No I am not retired,” added by Dale Steyn on Tweet.

He has also confirmed that after a break he will definitely reach out to play for other leagues and will definitely look out for the ICC Tournaments which is on up to the date in this year.

“I will be playing in other leagues, nicely spaced out to give myself an opportunity to do something I have been excited about as well as continued to play the game, I love so much. No I am not retired. Here’s to a great 2021,” added by Dale Steyn.

Talking about his performance in the concluded edition of IPL Tournament where he hasn’t seen up to the mark like what we used to see the lethal Steyn Gun, but his length disappears the way the fans loved to see.

As a RCB squad member, he played three matches out of 15 and in these three matches he could only manage to take one wicket with an high economy rate of 11.40.

Steyn will definitely look to gain the pace and length what he used to and would work on his process as a big tournament is on the way that is ICC World T20 Cup 2021.
