IPL 2019 is at peak time now and no team will like to lose their single player let alone their captain. SRH are at middle position in points table, losing a single match can make their position down in points table. SRH has played 9 matches so far in IPL 2019. They have won 5 matches and are at 5th position in points table with 10 points.

Their upcoming encounter is scheduled today against the Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Before this match there is a very bad news for SRH. Their captain Kane Williamson has to skip this match and return to his country as unfortunately his grandmother has died.

Although it’s unclear that whether he will be available in upcoming matches of SRH or not. But it is likely that Kane Williamson is going to miss the next game of Sunrisers, which is against the Rajasthan Royals on April 27. In his absence Bhuvneshwar Kumar will lead SRH.

This is a very bad news for SRH because maybe Jonny Bairstow will also be not available for SRH after today’s match. Also, David Warner is set to return to his country for world cup 2019 preparations.

Kane Williamson missed Sunrisers’ opening match of the IPL 2019 and returned for the second game against Kolkata Knight Riders. Then he went on to miss the next four games due to an injury. He returned to lead against the Delhi Capitals on April 14. He was last year’s highest-scorer with 735 runs but has not performed well this year. Kane has scored just 28 runs in four games he has played in IPL 2019.

SRH will most likely select Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi for the matches in which Kane Williamson will not be available as he has played before also in this season of IPL and performed well.
