After the Ongoing test series, India will play a bilateral series against West Indies. Indian selectors will meet tomorrow in Kolkata for announcing India’s Squad for West Indies series. According to reports, Team Management will give rest to Rohit Sharma to manage the workload while so Virat Kohli back as a captain.
Shikhar Dhawan’s performance is under scanner because he couldn’t perform well in the previous series against Bangladesh and also in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Mayank Agarwal may receive India call-up for the Limited-overs because he is doing well in the longer format.
According to sources, Krishnappa Gowtham and Axar Patel are dark horses to make it into the T20 squad against West Indies. Maybe at the expense of Krunal Pandya or unplayed Rahul Chahar. Krishnappa Gowtham may receive his maiden India-call while Axar Patel will make his comeback in the team after a long time.

Virat Kohli is a tremendous player: Andre Russell
“He (Virat) is a tremendous player. Sometimes, you may have to put five-ten words together to actually describe him as a player. He is such a determined guy. Virat is a true champion. I just hope that he can keep entertaining the fans. He has been performing well in Test cricket, ODIs and T20I cricket. He is a proper all-around player,” Russell said on the sidelines of the ongoing Abu Dhabi T10 league.
“Virat’s technique is a lot different from mine. It’s more classical than mine. I am more awkward batter where my technique is not that smooth,” Russell said. My technique is all about power and brute force. I try to hit the ball as hard as possible off every delivery I face,” he added.
