Bowling on flat pitches is probably the toughest ask from a player in a cricket match. Batsman just have to line-up the bowler on such pitches and once a batsman is set, there are not too many bowlers who can put their hand up and contain the batsman on such pitches.

But if you a Bumrah or Malinga, you can surely live up to the task. And this is the reason teams practice a lot to get ready to face such bowlers in match.

New Zealand also did the same, just before the start of the second game of ongoing India vs New Zealand ODI series, a video of the New Zealand Kid imitating the Bumrah like action was making the round on the Internet. And the video was also shown to the Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah by former Kiwi international Simon Doull and Yuzi Chahal was also there when the video was shown to the pacer.

While watching the video Indian medium-pacer Bumrah gave a laugh, while Yuzi Chahal comes up with an epic one-liner. He said in a jest, “It’s better than Bumrah.”

New Zealand also got a little success with their practice as they clinched the series three match ODI series against India in just second match at Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand. Coming to the match, New Zealand posted a solid total of 274 on a seemingly flat pitch. Ross Taylor continued his nice form in the series as he notched a mighty valuable 73 off just 74 balls to give New Zealand a solid total. The star of the match was debutant fast bowler Kyle Jamieson, who was star with both bat and ball putting up an all-round performance that was too hot to handle for India.

In chase, India never looked in its elements right from the start of their innings and only Shreyas Iyer, Ravindra Jadeja and Navdeep Saini could put up a little fight albeit in a losing cause. And now the third and final match of the series will commence on 11 February at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui.
