During the lockdown when the game came to standstill, a number of fans got chances to talk with their favourite cricket celebrities and players also enjoyed talking and answering their fans queries.

But now with the game slowly setting its pace, players have little time for talking with or answering fans queries on Social media. The time become scarcer, when you are captaining a side, opening the batting and also donning the gloves for your team like KL Rahul.

The Karnataka batsman has received accolades from the world over and is one of the most loved cricketers at present. Recently a fan made a strange request of putting him in touch with KL Rahul to KXIP pacer Sheldon Cottrell.

A fan named ‘JUMAN’ tweeted and tagged the pacer to ask him talk with KL about replying his tweets. Sheldon Cottrell noticed the tweet from ‘JUMAN’ and tagged his skipper calling him mastermind of strategic epic proportions. After receiving a request from his fellow team-man, KL didn’t take too long before responding to give a moment of joy.

The KXIP skipper is one of the most complete cricketers going around. For the last couple of years, he has proved his mettle in every format and every role given to him. He was handed KXIP captaincy ahead of this season and he has done reasonably well with over 600 runs this season.

Apart from a place in Test squad, KL is also named vice-captain of team India on upcoming Australia tour. Rahul has been rewarded for some consistent show in limited overs cricket in past two years. Rahul has already played 36-Tests for team India and after Rohit Sharma got injured, he is the only opener with experience and quality right now. The Karnataka batsman had made his international debut in Australia during the 2014-15 tour. He had scored one century during that series but still has a lot to prove.
