In the clash between Melbourne Stars and Hobart Hurricanes, by winning the toss, Hurricanes chose to bowl first and coming to batting, Melbourne Stars lost early wicket of Andrew Fletcher while due to the excellent knock of 97 runs by Marcus Stoinis and cameos by Hilton Cartwright and Nicolas Pooran led team to total of 183/6.
With 5.50 of economy and registering two wickets by S Rainbird was the key bowler performer for Hurricanes.
For the chase, Hurricanes lost early wicket of opener D’Arcy Short whereas Ben McDermott played an excellent knock of 91 runs. With the help of Dawid Malan they were coming lose to the target but within quick successions wickets were lost by Hurricanes.
The match turnover was due to Andre Fletcher’s catch which made a difference like Mc Dermott shot towards boundary was caught by Andre Fletcher in the mid air which was literally way too awesome and surprising.
Thus this brilliant catch made Melbourne Stars with an amazing win over Hobart Hurricans.
This was his second catch and the first one was also a stunner to send off Colin Ingram back to the pavilion.
Due to this two stunners, Melbourne ruled over Hurricanes with dominating fielding approach and producing superb victory.
