With coming days, ahead of the Boxing Day Test, hosts will definitely see to have another streaking win over Indian team. On the other hand, visitors will see to come back stronger to aim win but the disadvantage visitors is having the unorganized team combination so all they can do is to keep the chin up and play harder and stronger whereas Kangaroos will see to break the backbone of team and put proper dominance over visitors.
It is justified reports that David Warner and Sean Abbott has been ruled out of the Boxing Day Test and can join team for the third test against Indian Team.
Sean Abbott has sustained injury while the practice game was happening between both the teams. The injury was calf strain whereas David Warner was injured from the second ODIs series and was ruled out of final ODI and whole T20 series followed by opening test series. He has sustained groin injury and now wont be available for the second test also.
“Warner and Abbott spent time in Sydney outside the team’s bio-secure hub to recover from injury. While neither player has been in a specific ‘hotspot’ as outlined by NSW Health Cricket Australia’s bio-security protocols do not allow them to rejoin the squad in time for the Boxing Day Test,” quoted by Cricket Australia
“The pair traveled from Sydney to Melbourne to continue their rehabilitation given the changing public health situation in Sydney at the time,” added by Cricket Australia.
Australia will look to create proper team for the next test. Although team is strong enough but definitely look to create huge impact in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
The Boxing Day Test will commence from 26th December 2020 which will take place in Melbourne and no more players won’t be added to each respective squads.
