On Friday, Royal Challengers Bangalore, came up with a new logo to start the new decade on high spirits. The franchise’s new logo contains a Lion with a crown. Unveiling their new logo, the franchise their new logo as- It embodies the bold and fearless attitude of the 3-time finalists. On February 14, the franchise updated its new logo on all its social media handles, including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

This new logo from Royal Challengers Bangalore is drawing different kind of reactions from the World over. From cricketers to organisers to media persons, everyone is giving their views on this new logo and RCB outfit. While some alleged that they have copied the logo, others hilariously trolled them and asked the franchise to change the players not their logo.

With the logo, RCB management also introduced a new look jersey for the IPL 2020. The new outfit of RCB is a perfect blend of Red and Black. The two red and black halves are separated by a golden stroke.

Earlier, the franchise had removed their old logo from its social media handles while dropping Bangalore from its name as well. RCB think-tank have been making a lot of changes since the IPL 2020 auction in December 2019. They released a no. of players just ahead of the IPL auction, almost rebuilding the squad from scratch.

With the logo and Jersey, RCB also shared a video clip of their journey in the IPL so far. They added the video with a caption, “A new chapter begins on their twitter handle.

But this time they got heavily trolled by none other than their ex-chairman Vijay Mallya as Mallya responded to the tweet saying– “Great…but win the trophy!”The tweet might have struck the RCB outfit as a lightening but Virat & Co. will hope that this new decade brings some moments of glory for the franchise.

Since resigning as the director of Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2016, Vijay Mallya has not been associated with the franchise in any capacity. The former director had gone bankrupt in recent times and currently resides in UK.
