In the last two years, Indian players are at the first position in the most searched player globally. In 2018 MS Dhoni was the most searched player and in ongoing 2019, Virat Kohli is the most searched player in the world by cricket fans. Virat, MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma have consistently been the world’s favorite cricketers for these two years.
The interest of these Indian players has increased by almost 1.5 times in 2019 as compared to the stats of 2018. According to the researched of SEMrush, Virat Kohli has searched over two million times on a monthly average between Januarys to September in 2019. MS Dhoni and opener Rohit Sharma have also crossed an average monthly search of more than 1 million.
